“The work conditions for this contract were not ideal in that the weather was poor, access and working areas were at times very restricted, and the works were carried out “on the doorstep” of a number of residential dwellings. Despite this I found the supervision and standard of workmanship good with all operations carried out efficiently and quickly. The standard of reinstatement was also good and no NRSWA defects were identified at any stage. The Council observes a rigorous code of practice with regard to customer care and despite working in close proximity to properties there were few complaints. When visiting the site I always found DAB staff to be courteous and helpful, and when remedial works were identified they were completed without delay or argument. The Contract was competed on time and within budget.”
